We wrap up the 6 issue arc that begins the new (in 2008) series of Invincible Iron Man, by Matt Fraction and Salvador Larroca. Tune in to hear Alex and Drew talk through the confrontation between Stane and Iron Man in a dramatic conclusion. Happening after the events of Marvel's "Civil War", this is a nice entry point to anyone looking to read some Iron Man stories. (Though this isn't an origin story. In this special episode, we're not talking about a specific story. We're talking about Time Travel as a whole.  Avengers: Endgame Spoilers Ahead!! If you haven't seen the movie, turn back now and don't listen to this episode of the podcast unless you want to have plot events spoiled!! I have always loved the idea of time travel. I sometimes sit and just think about how it is described and theorized in different contexts. After watching Avengers: Endgame  I wanted to sit down with Alex and talk through time travel's function in Endgame. But beyond that, I just wanted a chance to get nerdy and talk about various time travel theories.  We really enjoyed making this episode. In Episode 4, we discuss a really great miniseries about Superman, well "a" superman, Superman: Secret Identity , Issues 1 and 2. In this series we follow Clark Kent through his life, but not the Clark Kent you're thinking of. This Clark Kent exists on a world where Superman only exists in comic books. I picked this as our intro to Superman on this podcast because I like the idea of getting to know some of the great ideals of Superman without having to worry about catching up on 80 years of Superman lore. For our first episode we dig into X-Men: The Worst X-Man Ever , Issues 1 & 2. We follow Bailey along as he goes from normal kid to an X-Man... sort of. We felt like this would be a good entry into the X-Men universe because it features a lot of the iconic heroes and villains from throughout the mutant continuity, but at the same time it is a stand alone story that would be a great entry point to anyone wanting to get to know the X-Men a little better. This is a really fun story, so give it a read and then give our episodes a listen! (Or just straight to listening if you want!)
