 When I we first covered the first few issues of Hawkeye a while back we mentioned that we might come back to it. I didn't finish it right away, but eventually I did, and I came across a three issue arc that I dubbed "The Grills Trilogy", or "Grillogy", and I felt we had to cover it. We ended up needing to cover a few additional issues to really capture the essence of an unsung hero of this series, Grills. We recorded this the week before the Hawkeye Disney + show came out, (Spoilers for episode 2 coming in the next sentence) but when it turned out the guy that ended up with the Ronin costume at the LARP event was Grills, I got really sad. If you haven't read issue 9 of the Fraction Hawkeye run that we cover in this episode, you'll see why I was sad soon enough. We really love this series and wanted to get you caught up on it so you can jump in and start reading it as it comes out!  This story jumps around through all kinds of different points on the timeline, from the 1960's all the way to the 3400's.
