Episode 90: "The Grillogy" Hawkeye #9-11 & 7 & 13 (2012) Fraction, Aja, Hollingsworth

 When I we first covered the first few issues of Hawkeye a while back we mentioned that we might come back to it. I didn't finish it right away, but eventually I did, and I came across a three issue arc that I dubbed "The Grills Trilogy", or "Grillogy", and I felt we had to cover it. We ended up needing to cover a few additional issues to really capture the essence of an unsung hero of this series, Grills.

We recorded this the week before the Hawkeye Disney + show came out, (Spoilers for episode 2 coming in the next sentence) but when it turned out the guy that ended up with the Ronin costume at the LARP event was Grills, I got really sad. If you haven't read issue 9 of the Fraction Hawkeye run that we cover in this episode, you'll see why I was sad soon enough.
