Episode 30: Powers of X #1 (2019) - Part 2 of our PHOX Event coverage.


We are dropped right in the action in Powers of X #1, which, despite its #1 description, is actually the continuation of the story which began in House of X #1.

We are quick to learn where the name Powers of X (10) comes from. Right on the first page we are introduced to 4 different moments in time: Year 0, Year 10, Year 100, and Year 1000. It will take many more books to actually figure out what the significance of each event is, but it will all be worth it, trust me!

If you are just jumping in here, we encourage you to go back one episode and start with Episode 29, which begins the entire arc. We also highly encourage you to check out each of the issues yourself. These 12 issues weave in and out of each other and are well worth the reading time! The easiest way to find them is probably Marvel Unlimited. But I bet you can also find floppies (paper copies) at your local comic shop, and it is well worth the investment!
