Episode 32: The Blipisode (A Tale of Two Dongles)

We're Back 2 Man Fans!!

Hello everyone!
It's been ages hasn't it?
Thanks for your patience!

Anyway, We are finally up and running again! At long last we got things in place to record remotely. Even though we made some preparations at the beginning of the quarantine, we couldn't get the devices to work for Alex. Fast forward 3 1/2 months and I happened to need to visit and we tried out a different dongle for the audio interface, and BOOM, it worked! So hopefully we will be able to get back into a routine.

The first few episodes back will be some random topics before we get back into House and Powers of X.

Episode 32 is just a catch up of the happenings during our quarantine hiatus. A few comics we've been reading, some tv shows, random life events, and whatever tangent we happened to get into.

Episode 33 will be a brief discussion on "What is the most important infinity stone in the MCU?" So if you have an opinion, reach out and let us know. If we get it in time and it fits our discussion, maybe we can mention it in the episode!

Have you missed us during our break? We've certainly missed hearing from you. We would love to hear what you've been reading during quarantine.
We would love to hear from you!

Episode 13: Let's Talk About Indie Comics!

In Episode 13, Alex and Drew talk about a handful of different Independent Comic Books that we've read over the last few weeks! We tried to be as spoiler-free as possible, but some details were necessary to get the idea of the books across in hopes that you would look into them yourself! Titles Covered: The Wicked + The Divine Space Bandits Invasion from Planet Wrestletopia The Infinite Loop Sombrerian The Spire Rat Queens We plan to do some deep dives into some of these titles, as well as many other Indie books in the future, but in this episode we just wanted to share the titles of some books we think you might want to check out! And as always, if there is a comic series or topic you would like to hear us cover on the podcast, reach out to us on  Twitter @2mancomicbook , or  Instagram @2mancomicbookclub .

Episode 109: Truth: Red, White, & Black (2003) Robert Morales, Kyle Baker

In today's episode, we have our final installment for Black History Month with the emotionally gripping, "Truth: Red, White, & Black", which follows several characters, including Isaiah Bradley. Which, if you watched the recent Disney + show "Falcon and Winter Soldier", you saw was a forgotten/covered-up Captain America back in the 40's. We don't want to give it all away here, but trust us, it is worth the read!! Who/What is the 2 Man Comic Book Club?

My name is Drew Morris. I was once in a book club with one other guy (which we called the 2 man book club). We read a The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and then Huckleberry Finn. We never really met to talk about them in the way most book clubs actually work. We just read them and occasionally made jokes to each other about them. (And sang the "Freebootin'" song from the Tom Sawyer musical, which we came across while reading it).  Several years later, my friend Alex Miller told me that I should get a subscription to Marvel Unlimited so I could read comics again. After a little thinking, I did, and jokingly said that we should start a 2 man comic book club. The 2 man comic book club started in much the same way as my 2 man book club. Alex and I would tell each other about comic books that we should check out, we would read them, and talk briefly about them when we ran into each other.  Fast forward a year or so, Alex texts me one morning ...
