Episode 31: House of X #2 (2019) - Part 3 of our PHOX Event coverage

This issue of House of X totally rocked our worlds, as well as the world of the X-Men. I haven't reacted to a book like I reacted to this one in a very long time. If you haven't read it, go read it now on Marvel Unlimited before listening to the episode if you don't want to experience spoilers on a multiversal scale.

I have a seen Moira MacTaggert  pop up in various spots in X-Men storylines, so I knew she was significant, but in House of X #2, she becomes one of, if not the most significant being in the Marvel universe. This is a book that needs to be read. I have read it 4 or 5 times now and every time I find something new to love. (kind of like how I find a new layer of awesomeness every time I watch Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan)

I don't want to give away too much with this blog post in case you haven't read or listened to the episode yet. Just trust me, this is one for the record books.

And make sure to listen to the episode to find out how to enter for a chance to win your very own copy of Powers of X #1.

Titles Covered: The Wicked + The Divine Space Bandits Invasion from Planet Wrestletopia The Infinite Loop Sombrerian The Spire Rat Queens We plan to do some deep dives into some of these titles, as well as many other Indie books in the future, but in this episode we just wanted to share the titles of some books we think you might want to check out! And as always, if there is a comic series or topic you would like to hear us cover on the podcast, reach out to us on  Twitter @2mancomicbook , or  Instagram @2mancomicbookclub .

Drew's Gut Reaction Comic Book Rankings

So here at the 2 Man Comic Book Club, we've released 100+ podcasts about comic books, superheroes, space fights, superpowers, tv shows, and time travel. I still can't believe it! As I've worked my way through more and more comics, I've started wondering how they all stack up.  What follows is by no means a detailed examination of each comic where I weigh their merits against each other. It's exactly what the title claims... a Gut Reaction Ranking . All I did to make this list was start with the first comic we covered on the show "X:Men - The Worst X-Man Ever" and put it at the top of the list. I moved onto the next one, "Superman: Secret Identity" and put it beneath Worst X-Man, because I liked the X-Men story more. (Can you believe that? Coming from me? A self proclaimed Superman fanboy for life!!??)  I then worked through the rest of the stories we covered on the show, comparing it to the list as it stood and placing the new story where I felt
